The book is out!

The book is out!  I’ve thanked several people at the beginning of the book, and I should now also thank everybody at Cambridge University Press, and notably Roger Astley, Helena Dowson, Clare Dennison, Caroline Mowatt, and Sarah Payne.  It was a pleasure to interact with dedicated and serious people such as you!

      I confess I may have a tendency to be terse on the subjects I know well, as we all do. I also usually try to concentrate on the main ideas in my posts and make them as accessible as I can. The rest can be found either in the book or in papers I’m citing. I may be a bad judge of what is missing, by the way: if you have any specific questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
